ANU #90 — AppCoins Wallet Latest Release & Bottom Navigation Screen
Welcome to the AppCoins News Update, ‘ANU’ for short. This week we’re focusing on the latest release and the bottom navigation screen.
The tale behind the latest release
As some of you may have noticed a couple of weeks ago, over the course of about a week, the AppCoins Wallet wasn’t available on Google Play. We want to be completely transparent about why this happened, and what we did to get it back.
A couple of days after the release of AppCoins Wallet version 1.19.2.0, we were notified of our suspension from Google Play for breaching the platform’s terms of use by providing access to a product that facilitates the distribution of software outside of Google Play.
Our reaction was quick, and as soon as we were notified about the suspension we started working to make the required changes in the AppCoins Wallet app in order to make an appeal. After a couple of days, we made the appeal with an updated version of the wallet. The changes only impacted the redirect link to Aptoide and the apps that have our billing system available. There were no changes made to performance of the wallet or its main functionalities, and after a week we were back on Google Play. Enjoy our latest release version 1.19.2.1.
The NeverEnding Story … of the bottom navigation
You have all read about our enthusiasm for the new bottom navigation, and truth be told we are very excited about this upcoming update. Not only for the revamp of our UI, but as developers, we are always challenged with new tech, new content, and new devices, so this type of update is fulfilling in many ways.
The update will include a new home screen in the bottom navigation, and we have already started the integration of the current My Wallets screen. After that, we will then work on the update of the My Wallet screen UI. Stay tuned for the next ANU if you want to find out more!
