ANU#45 — Referral Program Flow and Pocket Gamer Connects
AppCoins News Update, or ANU for short, is a regular bi-weekly update by the AppCoins team. As usual, we are going to cover dev updates, market reports, team members and upcoming events. This week, we’ve focused on finalizing the details of the new Referral Program. We are also going to be at the global mobile games conference, Pocket Gamer Connects, early next month.

In the last few weeks we’ve been working hard to deliver some new amazing features in our AppCoins Wallet.
Closed Beta
As previously mentioned, we’ve been developing a new Referral Program with the goal of increasing the AppCoins user-base. This program allows users, who are already part of the AppCoins ecosystem, to invite new users to join. The best part? Both the person who sends the invite and the recipient gets to earn AppCoins Credits to spend in their favorite games!
This development has now entered its final stages and some internal testers have been able to experience the new flow.
Here’s a sneak peek of the flow from two different perspectives; from the person who sends the invite, and from the person who gets the invite.
Person who sends the invite
- There is a new screen where you can find all of the ongoing AppCoins Promotions. Open it.
2. Press the share button next to DETAILS to share an Invite Link to your friends. Please note that you can only receive a referral reward from up to five friends.
Now, all you need to do is wait while the person you invited goes through the flow explained below.
Person who receives the invite
- Start by opening the link that was sent to you. Next, insert your phone number.
2. Click on the “I’ve been invited” button to open the new referral flow.
3. Go through the necessary steps to verify your wallet.
4. Make a purchase using any payment method (except AppCoins Credits) that is above $0.80.
That’s it! Both you and the person you invited have just earned $2.00 worth of AppCoins Credits each.
Top Up screen update
With this new development, making a Top Up has never been easier! From now on, we’ll suggest values for you to choose from and with only two clicks you’ll be able to complete the Top Up.

Bio: Rafael has been working for AppCoins for almost two months. He is in charge of verifying any bugs and errors that may appear in the AppCoins Wallet. When there’s a problem, he reports it. As soon as it’s fixed, he’s in charge of testing it out. We can say he is the last barrier against bugs!

Pocket Gamer Connects is a global mobile games conference that has been hosted worldwide. This year, the event comes to Helsinki, Finland, where it will take place between the 1st and the 2nd of October 2019.
