Developers Incentives Program — 4 weeks have closed with 500,000 APPC being distributed!
Four weeks have gone by since the Developers Incentives Program first started, and so far we are pleased to announce that the program has been a huge success with over 1,300 transactions occurring in the last four weeks, and a total of 500,000 APPC having already been distributed to the 37 participating developers. With one of the participating developers, Megasoft78, amassing around $17,000 in a month, this represents a huge increase in monthly earnings when compared to other app stores.
Achieved Results
Megasoft78, the developer behind the app Word Jungle, had the most number of in-app purchase transactions during the first four weeks of the Incentives Program, hence earning over 150,600 APPC in a month! Today this amount is equivalent to over $17K! This means that the amount he received during October, resulted in 3x increase in in-app revenue on World Jungle Android app.
The best part is that the distributed amount of APPC can increase in value as the AppCoins network grows with more developers joining and more transactions taking place!
👉 Since Week 1, the number of APPC enabled apps almost doubled! — At the moment there are 50 apps available from 37 developers.
👉 The program has been attracting all type of developers, including top grossing developers such as GTArcade with the app Legacy of Discord — FuriousWings.
How does the Weekly Incentives Program work?
The weekly Incentives Program consists of distributing 125,000 APPC proportionally to the number of IAP transactions per game, which means that each developer that participates in the program will automatically earn APPC! Evidently, the developer with the most transactions gets the biggest slice of all.
How to join the Developers Incentives Program
All Android developers are welcome to join the program. To access the incentives, you need to:
- Create a developer account on BDS;
- Integrate AppCoins billing (documentation here) in your apps, and ensure the app is correctly functioning;
- Upload your app on the BDS developers portal and follow the steps to distribute your apps in all stores;
- Generate in-app purchase transactions, the more the merrier!
Keep in mind that the sooner you join the program, the better chances you’ll get to earn AppCoins since the competition for the 125,000 APPC weekly pot will increase as more developers participate!
