ANU #92 — Upcoming AppCoins Wallet Feature & UI Updates
Welcome to the AppCoins News Update, ‘ANU’ for short. This week we’re focusing on a new feature we’ve been working on — which was specifically requested by the community — and on UI updates. Read on to find out more!
Ability to Select a Currency
One feature that our users have requested is the possibility to choose the currency they would like to see when in the AppCoins Wallet.
We are now finalizing the developments that will enable this feature, and it will occur in two phases. We will allow users to select the currency they want to see inside the AppCoins Wallet on an upcoming release. This means that the users’ balance and transaction details will be shown in the currency of their choice on every screen.
However, we will not yet integrate the change in currency that will affect the purchase flows due to its complexity. In short, not all payment methods support all currencies, which would result in a conversion of the currency being made before the actual payment. This could affect the value the user would pay, so, for now, neither purchases nor top-ups will be available with this new feature.
UI Updates — Next Steps
As we’ve previously mentioned, the next step when it comes to our new UI, will be to update the “My Wallets” screen. Once that’s ready, we will have almost an entirely new UI to present to our users, including many new great details and a smoother working AppCoins Wallet.
Following last month’s protocol KPIs performance, on this ANU we have collected the values from July, regarding flows using Apps with AppCoins, IAP with AppCoins and User Interactions with the Wallet, as the table shows below.
