ANU#66 — New Rewards Concept & Upcoming Payment Method
Welcome to the AppCoins News Update, ‘ANU’ for short. This week, we’re focusing on new visual and structural updates to the bonus updates and more!
During these last couple of weeks, we have worked on new developments regarding the AppCoins Wallet and its ecosystem. Two new wallet versions have been launched with many new things to see, and a new User Incentives Program progress table is now in place — this and much more in this week’s update!
Released Versions
In the last ANU, we mentioned we were working on a new version that was on the verge of being released. This new version focused on impressive improvements in the notification system that focused on providing a reliable mechanism to notify our users when a new message was sent to them from our support channel.
New Rewards Concept
While running tests for the release, our team was simultaneously working on a very important update to the promotion section of the wallet. To be more specific, we were working on a visual and structural update to our user rewards feature which included a new layout and a new bonus table.
The new table, launched on July 1st, contains a list of new levels and new bonus percentages. As such, we focused on creating a new layout for this new rewards screen and progress.
We came up with a new storyline for our user to experience while going through the rewards table. Aligned with our current space theme, we added a space voyage where the user starts on Earth and travels throughout the solar system — of course, the further the user goes, the bigger the bonus is.

Check For Updates
The new release also includes something small but highly requested by our community. From now on, the AppCoins Wallet users can check for updates directly through the settings of the application. Fast and easy.
Upcoming Release
But we did not stop there! We’re already working on a newer version, where new fixes and improvements are currently being tested. One of the new updates will provide another level of security to the wallet.
When it comes to the improvements and fixes:
• The correct receiver
We’ve fixed a small issue with our blockchain transaction listing; it did not show the correct address on the receiver side. We know that is a little detail, but details make all the difference.
• New loadings
To improve the user experience on payment flows (both top-ups and purchases), we are updating the way we provide the loading of information on all the screens that are part of the payment flows. This way, we’ll guarantee that the user doesn’t feel lost due to a lack of context.
On Our Pipeline
In our work pipeline, there is a new payment method that can reach many countries. It’s easy to use, fast and without complications; we’re talking about carrier billing. This allow users to use their mobile operator/network provider to pay for purchases when making purchases within the AppCoins ecosystem.
This means that there will be no need for a credit card or any special accounts: users will be able to make purchases by adding their phone numbers during the payment process.
We will start with only one country but hope to add this new payment option to a wide list of more countries soon. Read our next ANU to find out all the details on this. Stay tuned!
