Welcome to the AppCoins News Update, ‘ANU’ for short. This week, we’re focusing on the integration of new Local Payment Methods and on User Incentive bonus updates. Read on to find out more!

This week, our Dev Update will focus on details regarding several releases that have been made in the past couple of weeks, and on a new one regarding the AppCoins Wallet. More below!

New Releases

Improvements

In the last couple of weeks, we made several releases of the AppCoins Wallet — although most of them had no evident changes to the naked eye. The main reason for this is the continuous improvements being done on the features we’ve previously released.

These changes came from the feedback we receive both from our QA team and from our Intercom users who provide important details on use cases. Since we want to make sure that everything is running properly, our approach is to apply a continuous process of releases, as improvements are made.

New Local Payment Methods

Nevertheless, we still released new things, the most meaningful was, the list of new local payments that are already available in the AppCoins Wallet.

This time we’ve added six new payment methods: three of them for a country that already supported local payments. The other three payment methods were released for two new countries, which are now part of a set of countries where we are able to provide easier access for users to make purchases. These are the new payment methods:

For Indonesia

  • OVO
  • LinkAja
  • Doku Wallet

For the Philippines

  • GCash
  • GrabPay

For Thailand

  • Rabbit LINE Pay

As you know, we’re continuously working on providing better improvements and features. We’ll have new features in the next weeks, so stay tuned and give us your feedback on the upcoming content that will be released.

More Local Payments In The Near Future!

Although we have released a great list of new local payments that we now support, we are still working on adding more.

For our usual reader, we’ve already talked about adding Brazil and Mexico to our list of countries with local payments. And for these two countries we will start a new row of tests in the coming weeks, so be ready to try them out.

We’ll also add an additional payment method to Indonesia. And we probably won’t stop here! So, if you want to have your preferred payment method integrated into the AppCoins Wallet, just let us know through our communications channels! We’ll be glad to work on it!

Design Updates

We are working on having two new design features that’ll be available in the next couple of weeks.

Application Share

From the application bundle that you can see on the wallet’s main screen, we were able to go to the application view of that app. And if you wanted to share that app (that one that you love and that provides you with many bonuses when making purchases), you would need to go to that application’s view and share it from there. Well, we’ve decided to make it easier for you to share the link of apps with your friends. Tell us what you think about the new changes!

New “Share” option

Top Up

After many requests from our users regarding the available amounts to make a top-up, we’ve decided to make a small update on our UI, so that it can handle the requests a little better. So have a look and tell us your thoughts on the new changes we’ll make to the Top Up feature so you can access more default values of top-ups.

New Top Up Feature

User Incentive Bonus Update

In other news, as you know, our User Incentives Program, which has been running for a while, allows users to get bonuses of up to 30% on their in-app purchases. This program has been a huge success and has brought in a staggering number of new users in the past months! To keep it going for a long time, we had to review the current values of the bonus that we are currently giving out to our users.

This revision will have an impact on the current percentage of each user’s level in the User Incentives feature. For instance, the maximum bonus will change to 25%. The rules in which this bonus will be applied, are currently being analyzed.

As always, you’re invited to follow our work regarding all of the products we’re working on:
