Welcome to the AppCoins News Update, ‘ANU’ for short. This week, we’ve focused on user support, payment feedback and other ongoing developments. We’re also attending the Bigo Awards Gala and Pocket Gamer Connects London. Read on to find out more!

Holidays have come and gone, yet the AppCoins team never stops! Here are the latest updates since our last ANU:

Ongoing developments

Let’s start with the updates we’ve already mentioned in previous ANU’s:

  • Subscriptions
For subscriptions, we’ve worked on new screens, and more precisely, in the new flow for the payment of the subscription.
  • Wallet screen
We are currently working on updates for the backup process of the AppCoins Wallet and focusing on the simplicity of the wallet’s backup process. Instead of making a backup as text, we’ll change the process to make it in file form.

What do you think about these changes? Let us know in the comments!

User support

One of the new features, that we are counting on releasing very soon, is to provide support to our users. To do this, we will first release this feature inside the AppCoins Wallet and gradually introduced it to some of our users (so that we can understand how and if it’s working). We will then proceed to open the support channel to all our users.

Our new support channel will be accessible via tapping the bubble-like action icon found at the top right corner of the wallet screen. When users tap on the support icon, they will be redirected to a channel that allows them to chat directly with our community/support team.

After the first integration of the feature, the support channel will be available throughout the purchase flow.

Payment error feedback

In order to have the best support possible in the purchase flow, wallet users need to have the most accurate information regarding the issues they may experience so that they can provide more precise details to our community/support team.

Often, the feedback provided in purchase processes are not detailed enough, hence we will begin to request more specific details from our users and, therefore, be able to supply better and faster support.

First of all, we are working on getting more information about the possible errors that can occur during a purchase. These developments are in a very advanced stage and will soon be available in one of our upcoming releases.

As soon as that’s completed, we will start working on giving the visual feedback about the errors that could occur during the purchase flow, and, as mentioned above, provide users with access to our support channel.

As always, you’re invited to follow our work regarding all of the products we’re working on:
