ANU#39 — Multiple AppCoins Wallet Updates and ChinaJoy
AppCoins News Update, or ANU for short, is a regular bi-weekly update by the AppCoins team. As usual, we are going to cover dev updates, market reports, team members and upcoming events. This week we review all the updates and improvements that have been made in the AppCoins Wallet so far, from local payments, balance details, bonus highlights, and user acquisition flow.

Upcoming Events
As we reach the end of the second quarter, the team has been focusing on some of the major features mentioned in previous ANUs. In the beginning of last week, we released a new version of the AppCoins Wallet with many improvements and some new features, including:
Local Payments
Local payments offer easier access to payments in apps and games for those that don’t have access to a credit card or a PayPal account, by giving them access to payment methods that users from those regions already trust. Please note that this payment method is only available in India and Indonesia, for now.
A special fact regarding this feature is that after the release we started to receive very helpful feedback from our users. This had us disable the feature for a brief moment so that we could make the necessary adjustments in order to provide the best user experience possible. We are counting on releasing a new update about this very soon.
Balance Details
We also delivered a new way to show users their wallet balance details. In addition to the main screen, where users are able to see the balance of each token they have (AppCoins, AppCoins Credits and Ethereum) and its value in their local fiat currency, we’ve now replaced the previous “Tokens” screen with the new “Balance” screen — which shows a run down of all the user’s tokens, with pop-up descriptions of each. This feature was also mentioned in a previous ANU.
Bonus Highlight
Another small improvement we made, which had a great impact, was highlighting the bonus in the purchase and Top-Up flows. We consider the bonus that we are offering to our users a very relevant benefit for using our ecosystem — and something that should be highlighted at the end of the purchase so that users can easily understand how when they make a purchase or a Top-Up, they receive a bonus. Check it out and tell us what you think!
User Acquisition Flow
Last but not least, we have made improvements in our User Acquisition Flow — including the Wallet Verification, which, as we previously mentioned, is trying to prevent fraudulent behavior and allow all our users to enjoy our campaigns and benefits to the fullest.
We continue to improve our User Acquisition flow with the intention of allowing all users to access campaigns created by our developers. From now on, we are only permitting users to enjoy the perks of a campaign for each application/game once.
Previously, our users could use the Proof of Attention (PoA) flow for campaigns in an application/game and receive the bonus for each conversion. However, this will no longer be possible.
Following last month’s protocol KPIs performance, on this ANU we have collected the values from June, regarding both flows using AppCoins, IAP and User Acquisition, the number of apps downloaded with the integration of AppCoins, as well as indicators from the SDK, as the table shows below.
As always, you’re invited to follow our work regarding all of the products we’re working on:
