Welcome to the AppCoins News Update, ‘ANU’ for short. To celebrate the 100th edition of ANU, we’ve decided to give you an exclusive sneak peek into the roadmap that our development team will be working on for the foreseeable future. Read on to find out about the exciting updates to come!

Easier Backup Process

As you know, the AppCoins Wallet is blockchain-based, which means that it provides our users with much higher cyber-security protection than any other account-based wallet or payment system. However, this means that like any high-security vault, you must have the access key in order to connect to it. This is why it’s so important for our users to backup their wallet key, as without it they will not be able to restore their wallet.

To help with this we’re planning an even easier backup flow for the wallet, where you can safely send your keystore to your email address for easier access. If, however, you prefer to store your private key in another location, other options will still be available.

While new wallet users will have this easy backup flow as a part of their onboarding experience, older users will be able to recover their wallet and skip the introductions if they so wish.

Payment Page Gets a New Look

One of the most critical pieces of our app is the payment page. This is the page that the user sees when they make an in-app purchase, and it’s incredibly complex behind the scenes. As such, version 2.0 of the wallet only featured minor improvements on this page. However now that we’ve set everything else in order, we want to tackle this critical piece to improve its look, feel, and efficiency.

NFTs

Probably the most anticipated current trend in mobile gaming is the possibility for users to buy unique items and trade them with NFTs that have been registered on the blockchain. And what better system to allow gamers to buy and store NFTs than ours? The Appcoins Wallet wants to be the first choice for games, and we are in a unique position to allow it once NFTs start hitting the mass market. Stay tuned, because this is sure to change the gaming industry as we know it!

Following last month’s protocol KPIs performance, on this ANU we have collected the values from October, regarding flows using Apps with AppCoins, IAP with AppCoins and User Interactions with the Wallet, as the table shows below.

As always, you’re invited to follow our work regarding all of the products we’re working on:
